School grants are given to only select categories of schools which are supported by non profit organisations.The reason for this is the existence of numerous schools and the government would not have sufficient resources to allot funds for all the applying schools.The schools which are expecting to receive funding from grant should meet a specific criteria,one of them being the setting up of an organization by the school body.Government grants are usually given to schools belonging to non profit organisations.School grants are given to a wide range of fields such as elementary schools,technology and other such educational related fields.The granting of funds to schools has provided wide range of positive outcomes –
