Education grants for Women

Grant is generally a sum of money given by the government or some other organization to fund such things as education or research. Grants may be given not only for women but for several groups such as men, students, children etc. In this Society we are treating women as servants in our kitchen, they are forced to be in kitchen only, which is not a good thing. Men and women in the society should be treated with equal rights, such as Right to vote, Right to education, Right to equality etc. In this century, education is an important thing through which that can be achieved. Acquiring knowledge through proper education helps the development of society.

Education is an important right not only for women, but for entire citizen in the world. Everyone in the world should be treated as equal, no one is superior than anyone.

Educational Grant to eligible student is always a motivation to excel in studies. Primary education in our country is nowadays easily available to all for the good steps made from government. It is now affordable to all with schools set up through out our country with free books and mid day meals programme etc. As it is almost free of cost to educate children upto higher secondary level, there isn’t any gender discrimination up to that stage In the present competitive scenario, due to globalisation, one needs to enhance knowledge further to be sharp and precise in everything. For that, apart from primary and higher secondary education, higher and professional education is essential. As the cost incurred to achieve that is high, it is still reserved for the elite group who can meet such expenses. The poor parents prefer men to be educated well with their limited resources.

An education grant specifically meant for uplifting women is a good step in this context. The expense to be met for educating women if is made available through educational grant, women power from rural and weaker section of our country will to a certain extent can be improved.

Government gives a number of grant for women interested in getting higher education. Education grants is basically a financial aid, which is made available to those who show a keen interest in studies. Knowledge is an important wealth and no one can throw it away from us. So acquiring maximum knowledge is a blessing from God and quality education is an essential tool for that purpose.
