Grants for Asians

  • Though largely left alone, Asians have been the victims of different types of racial, physical as well as emotional torture through the years. These forms of reluctance to closely befriend them have aggravated itself more so after 9/11.

In general, whenever we talk about Asians, we mean the people of west Asia but in reality the Asian community also has peoples from India, Sri Lanka and many other countries. They are treated as minorities in many countries mostly among the people who blindly hate Asians for what other Asian peoples have done.

Recent events of racial discrimination against Indians are a mere issue to illustrate the ill-treatment the Asians get. To aggravate things, many institutes have stopped admitting Asian students; many premier employers have refused job applications of people from the Asian origin. These are only few of the harassing situations Asians have to go through.

In this context isn’t it needful enough to issue grants for these ill-treated people. Whenever these people go to some other countries for whatever the reason may be, it is the commonest of cases where these people don not have enough money to even start their livelihood there. These people need the help of the natives. Just because of the fact that some people of the same origin have caused harm some time in history doesn’t mean that everyone of that origin is bad.

Citing a few examples would be more appropriate. Whenever we see some Thai people or some Vietnamese people or some Indonesian people, it never ever means that these people have something bad to offer. Almost every Muslim man and woman is seen with an eye of distrust and anger. When they come to these countries to get settled, they need the help of the native people which rarely happens.

They are charged more at medical facilities, transport and almost wherever they place their trust on. It is a known fact that they are from the lesser countries with the smallest of financial help. Isn’t it appropriate to look up to them as bright prospects of the future and urge them forward?

This requires the help from the natives, helps which they can show in the forms of different types of grants. Grants for education, grants for medical aid, grants in transport and probably the list will go on. These small grants will urge them to move ahead confidently and who knows, these small grants can and probably will reap to huge benefits for the native countries.

A few questions remain unanswered. Is it that bad a situation still to hate such people? Is it that bad a situation still to show them the path towards hating the natives? They can be even good to us only when we are good to them. Lets help them, lets bring them to our sides, lets join hands with them to build a happier and more peaceful place to live in which we call world. Because, only a simple and small help from you can make a bigger difference in the future.

This is very sympathetic part of Government that provision is made for people of other countries. It is something just like true friend of Asians or not unwise to say something more then a friend.
