Different countries and different rulers are giving defferent types grants for Medical studies. we can take in the case of University of grant commision in India.
Professional councils are responsible for recognition of courses, promotion of professional institutions and providing grants to undergraduate programmes and various awards. The Medcial Council of India (MCI) was set up by the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956, amended in 1993. The council is empowered to prescribe minimum standards for medical education required for granting recognized medical qualifications by universities or medical institutions in India.
Indroducing here how to apply for grant. Please ensure that you have all the following documents:
- Doctor’s Certificate
- Discharge Certificate
- Income Certificate
- Copies of Hospital/Medical Bills
- Proof of Residence i.e. Ration Card or any other document
- Recommendation Letter from Medical Social Worker from a general, municipal or government hospital.
- Employers Reimbursement
- Medical Insurance
The completed forms should be submitted in person to the Trust Office along with the required documents within a month of collecting the form.

UGC is the major body for controlling education quality in India. It should be made mandatory that only those colleges / schools will be allowed to remain open and function which are approved by the UGC. This will help improve the education pattern and quality in the country.
