Project Objectives: Goals and Desired Outcome

  • Here you need to be specific about the goals of your project and the specific activities to achieve them. Make sure you include each and every objective related to the goals. Specify all the methods you or your organization is about to use to achieve the stated objectives.

You need to be specific here so consider measurable things like quantities. You need to refer the objectives to the problem statement. Pay attention, everything you write here should be verifiable and if your proposal will be funded then, remember, every stated objective will be checked by federal representetives to evaluate the progress of your program. Make sure you are realistic in your statements, everything you write you will have to do.

Read books and articles helping you to identify and write program objectives.

Good advice. Frequently, people do not receive government grants because they fail to make measureable goals tha tcan be tracked. Having a good idea is a great place to start, but you need to have a solid plan on how you are going to implement it if you want the government to give you funding.
