starting a small business?

Me and the hubby want to start a small business that will take disabled and underprivileged children on hunting and fishing trips in Arkansas.
We would also like to do the elderly. We do not want the kids to have to pay so how do we go about getting sponsors and grants for this?We would like to work with the childrens hospitals and make a wish foundation. I do not want a laon but a small business grant the does not have to be paid back. ThxSphere: Related Content

I would recommend forming a non-profit organization, so that you can apply for more governmental grants, and other corporate sources of funding, in addition to personal donations. The process is not that difficult, but will require an accountant or attorney to help you, and guide you in the right direction.
This does not have to be a full-time gig, but if the fund raising takes off, it may require more of a time commitment, as donors usually want reports, etc (especially the government) on how funds are used.
